"New Hampshire citizens may have lost the emblem of their state when it fell off the face of Cannon Mountain on May 3, 2003, but memories and the history of the Old Man of the Mountain will live on in this cookbook."

GFWC-NH is pleased to offer this unique cookbook for sale as part of our continued support of the Old Man of the Mountain.

Recipes in this cookbook include appetizers, breads, soups and salads, meats, poultry, seafood, pasta, casseroles and vegetables, desserts, candy, jams, relishes, and sauces.

Each section begins with a color photo of the Old Man. Sidebars on the recipe pages contain a timeline of the Old Man of the Mountain and also reflections and memories about the Old Man from many citizens of New Hampshire and others moved by the loss.

The Old Man of the Mountain Legacy Fund was the President's 2004-2006 Special Project and our support continues. A portion of each book sold will be donated to the Old Man of the Mountain Legacy Fund to assist in its quest to build a lasting memorial to the Old Man of the Mountain for all New Hampshire citizens and visitors to enjoy.

We encourage all New Hampshire citizens and friends of this great state to safeguard the values and rich history of the Old Man for future generations to embrace. We thank you for your support of this uniquely New Hampshire endeavor.
